Hi
We are half way through our EOI but are stuck on the section other family members.Do you have to list everyone? I was only going to put my mum and step dad.Everyone in both families have said they won't want to come over and frankly we don't really want them to either.
Can you get away with just putting parents or do you have to list brothers ,sisters, nephews, nieces etc, everyone that might express a wish to emmigrate in the future?
Also on your driving licence is it the number on the top right corner, not your'e drivers number?
Thanks
Helen

As far as listing family is concerned, on the EOI, my OH just listed himself and myself as we were the only people intending to immigrate. When we filled in the ITA, we then added parents, siblings and our non dependant children. You can include other family members on your ITA should you so wish.
The driving licence number to use is the one that starts with the first initials of your surname.

We just put ourselves. Dusk is fairly certain this just means 'the people intending to emmigrate'. I have to say that both the EOI and the version you get with your ITA is very very ambiguous.

Hi, We put only ourselves on the EOI, and when the ITA arrived were were told to add other close family members such as parents/siblings. So we did.
Hang in there--the paperwork won't completely kill you--it'll just make you wish you were a little bit dead (grin). And then it feels great to finally get the ITA completed and submitted.
And then you (and we) wait!

Hi Helen, we put mums & dad plus brothers & sisters as these were the only ones likely to apply for visa's (visitors, WP or otherwise). Unlikely any of them will follow but you never know. My oldest son - who is staying in the UK - is listed under children and I ticked (or unticked, can't remember) that he was not included in our application. Driving licence I put our driving licence number which Zardell mentioned.

Driving licence number as per Zardell.
For family we included both sets of parents, my brother & sister-in-law but not our nieces (they are still very young) as that is all our 'immediate' family. To be honest I wouldn't really want my folks to join us but IF (& its a HUGE if) they did, at least by us including them it would make it easier. Don't want to potentially end up feeling bad in the future about putting obstacles in their way given that we've been through the process ourselves and its not easy/fun!
Hope this makes sense, haven't had enough coffee yet this morning!

Hi - as the training now is diploma then that is the level at which the qualification is recognised. I qualified in 1982 !!! and thats what i put - they still requested my training documents for registration and were satisfied with that.
Good Luck

Hi, We put only ourselves on the EOI, and when the ITA arrived were were told to add other close family members such as parents/siblings. So we did.
I'm in the same situation ie the ITA has a section in the checklist which is underlined regarding other family members, I do not want to put details about my estranged family. What will happen if I don't put their details and later it is found out that I have family not mentioned on my paperwork?
