Hey everyone,

Just wanted to drop a quick note to say hello from Danielle and I.

We're considering trading it all in for a new life on the other side of the globe but it's all at the ideas stage yet. Hopefully next year we'll get to visit NZ and see it for ourselves and by then we'd be a lot more aware as to how possible it all is.

Anyway, until then we'll be happy just to soak up and words of wisdom, offers of advice and hints and tips from anyone wanting to share them. At the moment it's an idea but who knows, it could be a lot closer than it seems.

Hi - welcome to the forum. I doubt if any of us here, would be here, if we hadn't had some of those 'ideas'...

We talked about it as a concept for years, then spent a whole year in more detailed planning, then another year getting through the process.... there were lots of times I felt we would never get here... but it all worked out in the end for us :)

I just joined too but I have been planning my for a little while. It was a thought a few years ago, but in the last 6 months I made the decision to finally do it. I'm planning on moving in Oct from the US, still not sure which visa I will arrive on, but that will be decided in the next couple months.
