Anyone know if City and Guilds PT 2 ELECT/ELECTRONIC Craft Studies is equiv to the qual bellow
I know I will need to go to NZQA at some stage but any info would be good

City and Guilds Pt 2 used to be a 2 year course when I taught it back in the early 90's (I taught the electronics side of it). Depending on which Nat. Cert they looking at, certain certificates could be done in 12 months with the diploma courses being 2 years. No doubt it has changed a lot but find out which Nat Cert it is looking for, BTEC probably and contact them or maybe C&G, it is easier (and probably free) than contacting NZQA. Good luck.

Actually i not totally sure on the answer to this one? Mainly as i havnt yet had any dealings with NZQA or getting my Qualifications assessed, as i am still only on a work visa.

I wouldn't be sure it if it was Equivalent with Electronics, the part 2 seemed much more Electrical than Electronics when i did it. Sorry cant give exact answer as i say i havent assessed my Certs yet.
