Hi Everyone,

Well the ITA has been submitted but I am going to have to apply for WTR visa due to job offer.
Would I be best to :confused: apply then for hubby under family stream or he apply for work visa and the kids students visa. I know 9 year old will need student visa for school, but the 3.5 and the 2 year old?
I am having a right panic. Seems so little time with so much to do.
I'll take deep breaths and reassure myself that the end result will be worth it. I'll be glad to see the back of the paper trail!

If you are going to apply for a WTR then your hubby should apply for a general work visa (not under the family stream).

Certainly the 9 year old will need a student visa, not sure about the children under school age but would assume that your PR will come through and then they would be covered by the time they go to school.

If you have already submitted your ITA, have you talked to your case officer about the time scales involved and if you should apply for a WTR?

They may be able to fast track your PR so you won't need to bother with the WTR at all. Depending on who your job offer is with, you may be able to get them to contact NZIS as well to hurry the process along.
