Copy me in - unless it was The Doctor in the Nursery with the Bottle Warmer that did it...?
Oh no - that was last Friday night - sorry Ben.

Dom, post it again. I read it and you had a valid point to make. Maybe someone could help out with the problem. We couldn't get registered with the nearest doctors' surgery because they had closed their lists too. Not sure about the kindy thing.

Come on Dom, spill the beans.
I know we had to wait 8 months to get registered with a doc as they had no spaces in Paraparaumu/Kapiti. Luckily some doc emigrated out here and we got in

well not having read the post the title left me puzzled.
Plenty of Dr.s with space in this area although the nearest one is full (something to do with them only charging $15 methinks) and theres definately kindys about as we have one at the end of our garden, can hear the little ..... darlings!! (if thats the correct word) at play right now.

The lists were full for all the doctors in our local health center when I went to inquire. When I asked what I was supposed to do if I needed to see a doctor, the receptionist said one of the doctors would see me but it would depend on who had space on that day. I played a very worried mum and in the end I convinced her to sign me onto a doctors list. :)

As you're in Lower Hutt, probably. Doctors are really hard to find.

Another thing, childcare places are in high demand all over, Auckland has waiting lists and I hear wellington is as bad, if not worse, trying to get a place.
I have had friends find out they are pregnant, and if they are going back to work, booking a place for childcare there and then to make sure they get one.
