On a slightly different topic than kitchens... This time the question is about mountain biking. My husband and I love mountain biking - Winchester, Wales (Glyncorrig), French Alps (Morzine / Les Gets)... basically anywhere offroad - technical or not.

I've heard about the HB mountain bike club's track at Tangoio. Has anyone been? What's it like? (Also, is the HB mtb bike club a good place to meet people??) Any other good riding in the Bay? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, KiwiTS

Certainly a more interesting topic than kitchens that's for sure. Sorry I can't advise on the Hawkes Bay area but you could try posting something on this NZ mtb site I discovered
http://www.vorb.org.nz/forums.html

I'm currently waiting for bikes to arrive with the rest of my container stuff, but have managed to do a few road rides on a bike I've borrowed.

Hi

Tangoio is a beautiful place, lovely scenery and waterfalls and bush. Unsure if bike track there as have only been on a school trip so what we saw was limited. You could try www.doc.govt.nz that shows a bit about Tangoio.

Hawkes Bay mountain bike club is www.hawkesbaymtb.co.nz if you havent looked already.

Sorry so vague, someone will hopefully come along and help you. Although we live in Hawkes Bay, never heard of the mountain bike club sorry.

HTH in someway
