Hi - has anyone seen Yankee Candles or YC wax tarts for sale in NZ? They are not made of beeswax, so should be fine to import.

Or can anyone suggest an NZ equivalent brand?

Thanks,
Jane

Lara,

I have seen them in a few places but not widely available.

There are a few ranges of good quality scented candles and tarts around, but also some cheap Chinese crap - just shop around a little.

Spotted the candles in a chemist outlet in the Dress Smart part of the Base, Te Rapa. (Hamilton)

they're shaped to fit in an oil burner - just light the tealight underneath and they melt and make smells.

a candle with no wick, if you like (but a real pain to get out of the oil burner if you want to just go back to oil and water)
