Hello!
I am currently a PhD student in the 1st year (in Romania there is a 3 year structure) and, to be honest, I am not happy at all with the quality of the lectures (only 3 lectures per semester - not enough professors), and I would like to start it all over in NZ. I tried to convince the secretary to tell me all the details in case of a transfer, but due to distance i cannot accept the situation in which i could have 2 coordinators, one from each country. I would have to go back 3 times a year for the exams.
Does anyone know how much one is supposed to pay for one year of doctoral school in NZ?(Literary and cultural studies). In Romania I was the 5th on the list after the entry exam, so i don't have to pay a fee.
I had an initial project about one literary critic, but I was forced to change my subject(common practice at the university of Bucharest) and ended up writing about an American writer; the point is that I have research materials and I am ready to present parts of it to a professor.
