Just sumbitted EOI ! 150 points (extra 20 points for wifes hons degree). I have question about the requirement for assessment of qualifications. Am i right in saying that if your degree is from one of the recognised university's it does not require further assessment NZQA?

Hi

If you do not have a job offer you have to get NZQA approval, because Immigration NZ do not grant bonus points for qualifications which are not approved by NZQA (regardless of whether or not included in the list of recognised universities). If you do have a job offer you will have enough points regardless of your qualifications and in this case you do not need to send for NZQA approval.

Hi,

In my experience you do not need the NZQA assessment if your qualification(university/school + exact degree designation) is on the LORQ. It should say that they are on the EOI selection letter.
