Hello Everyone,
Anyone care to comment on the state of the IT job market at the moment for .NET Developers.
I received an email on the 11th of march from the Visa Office at Immigration New Zealand saying my application for PR was now being considered.
As it will be nearly a year from submitting my EOI, I am interested in how the job market for .NET IT people has developed, and obviously what my prospects might be.
Tonight, I'm off to London for the New Zealand Expo. It will be my 3rd expo having been to the Manchester and Edinburgh expos over the last year. On the Expo web site, no IT companies were listed, even though the London expo is supposed to be the biggest in the UK, so I'm not sure what I'll find.
I spent Christmas and most of January in New Zealand, travelling all over North and South Island and I really enjoyed it. I can't wait to return, and I'm hoping my application for PR will be approved soon.
