I played quite a few of them before I joined Shandon.
They are all generally in excellent shape. The only one that wasn't was the municipal course in Berhampore, but that was only $18 for a round.

Pauatahanui is like the north face of the Eiger!
But a few kms away is Judgeford which is nice....and over the hill - Manor Park. Both great.

OH is part of a works golf team. So far he's played at Te Maura, Waikanae, Carterton, Martinborough. He enjoys playing at all of them :D

I like the Titahi bay course, but I don’t go there often because it’s hard work. Boulcott in lower hut has to be my favourite, but that’s probably because its flat, I’m lazy and there are some long fun drives. (oh and sometimes you see the parrots, I think they escaped from somewhere!)
I guess it depends on what you like, you’ll probably find it since we are simply spoilt around here.

To be honest I haven’t found a bad one, I have found a few I can’t pronounce the name of though (or spell come to that).
I haven’t played this one yet, but I’ve passed by a few times and it looks great (but a little pricey for me)
