Hi
we are thinking of doing our "check it all out" trip in Sept what will the weather be like? will it be the same as spring in the UK or little colder? we are hoping to settle in Tauranga but also want to take a look round North Auckland. Thanks

It's warmer than spring in the UK, especially on sunny days. More like early May. Cold at night, but can be lovely in the day time on the top half of the NI anyway.

Sam, I was going to ask since when did spring in UK have 26 degrees daytime temperature?? But I getting my months mixed up coz I keep thinking this is the equivalent of October now :laugh

Yes, Sam was right Ziggy, light fleece will usually suffice up this neck of the woods (Waikato) and a waterproof of sorts.
