My doc suspects I might have fibro and I am currently on a small dosage of Amitriptylene (50mg) to control my sleeping and pain.
I had previously asked my GP if there was any way to pick up that I am on this medication - he said no, not unless they were specifically looking for it.
The reason I am reluctant to mention it is due to the fact that Amitrip is commonly known as an anti depressant, despite its use in my case for sleep / pain control where typically only a 1/3rd of the normal dosage is taken.
Thoughts?
