Hey everyone!
My name is Andy and I plan on moving to Christchurch pending a formal offer from an employer.
I started thinking about moving abroad last year and my initial choices were the US, Canada and NZ. Due to qualification issues the US and Canada were ruled out.
I confess that I did not know much about New Zealand before I started my research but now I find myself quite happy that fate has pointed me this way.
I live in swansea and I love being close to the Gowers beauty. When the weather is nice I love it here and I can do all the things I love, Surfing, Cycling, Running.... However the UK's weather is not predictable :(
Obviously NZ is a very beautiful country and the weather is better and more stable which should allow me more chances to enjoy myself.
I should get the Job offer through soon and once I graduate this July there shouldn't be anything stopping me making the move.
I'll be moving by myself, I find the prospect quite exciting...finding new friends...exploring a new place etc....
The forum is great and has answered a lot of the questions I've had but I expect I'll be asking more as I go through the process.
