As I am new to this post - Hi all!

I intend to apply for a Graduate Diploma in IT (Level 7) in NZ (Bay of plenty polytechnic), which could lead me to a work permit and eventualy PR. I would also take my family with me before the beginning of the course.

Do you guys have any info and advices on this ( I would very much appreciate detailed ones:), and do you know if I have to study at least
two years course to get work permit, as in Australia or what?

I think that if you get a job as you are coming after your studies you can change your permit type to a work permit with little problem. However, you need to get that done before your student permit ends, which is at the end of the program.
