NZ immigration just called on my mobile to chat to Andy
about his employment, so they are looking at us.

I gave them his mobile, but stupid me thinks I have given them
mine again automatically.

Hope they don't stop the application for me being so blonde.

Things may be looking up.

I can't believe, it Andy said the phone call (after I managed to find her number, luckily she left a message on my phone not noticing I had given her my number again instead of Andy's. She was a bit off with him in the end as she said some of his work experience was not relevant, and he argued the point, she said she would go off and discuss it with someone and would let us know in a week. I logged on for bad news, thinking about it all afternoon.

An early birthday present, they must check dates of birth to give you a boost on your bday. Should have gone on tomorrow

Thanks everyone. Realised in NZ it is already my birthday so it was a present. At least that is what the NZ site says.

NW2NZ Andy is a Sales Manger so not on POL, we must just have a great case worker.

Many congratulations!! Glad to hear it. It brightened me up a bit after just being informed by NZ immigration that my virtually complete EOI form has been deleted from the system :(
