I'm very happy! considering its my first job after graduating I am very happy.

I did wonder about this Holidays Act of 2003? They state that i get 4 weeks paid holiday a year however this is only applicable after 12 months employment. So whats the deal with holidays before then? is it at the discretion of the employer?

Generally holidays in the first year on done on an accrual basis, so after you have been working for a while you should have accrued a few days holiday.

Not sure that all employers will honour this arrangement though, so would ask them to be sure.

Would also ask them about sick leave etc to see what they allow?
