Right no harm in asking eh..!

For the past six months i wanted to come up to the V8's at Hamilton but both work and cashflow meant it looked like a no-go.
BUT wonders of wonders, my employer has a client in Hamilton that needs a routine maintenance done that Monday so i can cover all my fuel expenses on company fuelcard! :cheers So supercars here i come...

Sadly having left the decision to attend the V8's until today i cant for the life of me find anywhere to stay or primarily camp with my tent. not surprising really as most things sold out months ago.

So can anyone in the Hamilton region recommend a camping ground thats not too far from the city and might likely have some space left? Or if worse scenerio a good spot where i can sleep in the car overnight! :wah

OR.... if anyone has a big enough garden for me and my tent next weekend drop me a PM please :P

Either way i am still stoked to be coming to the racing after-all!

Sorry Lee we're moving that weekend so unfortunately can't offer you a place to stay. Hope you enjoy the V8s though.

Lee - Hit the same problem myself. Actually won 2 tickets for the 3 days (including pit lane) by buying some deoderant (!). Just given them away as closer accommodation I could find was Tauranga

Lee, we'd love to offer you a bed, but as the bread knife says your timing couldn't be worse as we move house that weekend.

Sorry bud, but I'm sure someone will have a kennel or outhouse you could curl up in

Maybe one of the grid girls will take you home with them ;)

Unfortunately the wife's car got rammed by a crazy kiwi driver the other day so that option went out the window ;)

Hi Leccy-Lee - have you found yourself some accommodation - spoke to the owner of one of the flats in our block and he has furnished flat and might also have some spare tickets if you interested. Just let me know I can PM you his tel number
