My parents are thinking ahead and want to hire a car when they visit but both are over 75? Is this a problem in NZ? Anyone's rellies done this?

As long as they have current driving licenses there should be no problem. Some companies have different rules for under 25s, but I have not seen a separate section for oldies. Maybe have a look at the fine print on some of the car hire websites.
