managed to negociate good job offer . saaid we would go in August . Housing market is not in our favour ( what good timing ) Just wondering how long any of you have had a job held for you . It is as a midwife (so skill shortage ) I do not want to muck them around but we would want to sell before moving as our house is old and we do not want the upkeep with renting .

We might be lucky and sell quickly but it does not look good . The job sounds great and I have researched the area and feel we would settle there

We had OH job offer (nurse) extended by 4 months.

thanks Ian - have decided to email them and tell it how it is - would go tomorrow given the chance but life is not like that !
