My EOI was selected on Mar 26, with 125 points. Hopefully ITA soon...

In anticipation of that, I've been doing some research on the ITA application process, and it seems that many here submit their original documents and another set of photocopies for ITA.

Besides the medical report and police report which original is required, is it possible to send certified true copies of the rest of the documents? I don't feel comfortable sending original documents with courier companies in Malaysia. My ITA will be processed in Bangkok (if we get it), and I'm residing in KL.

When you get the ITA you get some info on what you are required to include and directed to the NZIS website that has more help on which documents should be original and which can be cert copies.

The ITA explains it quite well, and as said the website is reasonably good.

Welcome.

Hi,

Having a lawyer certify them should do the trick for copies.

If you are desperate, when I lived in Bangkok and Hat Yai, we used DHL with good results between KL and Thailand.

Remember that the health documents and police checks have time limits; if it takes them a while to get you your ITA and then awhile to get additional documents they might require (transcripts, ect), or clarifications, then you can run afoul of early prep efforts. This almost happened to me; my initial lab tests were 91 days old when everything was complete for review. However they let it go.
