I have a British Computer Society "Professional Graduate Diploma in IT" which I obtained through block release at Staffordshire University over a 3 year period, so study was part-time. This is recognised by UK QCA at level 6, i.e. equivalent to a the 3rd year of an honours degree. If this is recognised I get 160 points, with associated bonus points as I work within IT.

Has anyone out there requested NZQA to assess this qualification, or has any similar qualifications?

I have a Diploma in Information Technology which has been assessed by NZQA as level 5, which is worth 50 points. If you can use the post nominal Dip. IT, then I should imagine you're there!
