Some rellies from Scotland have sent the kids Scottish money in Easter cards - yep foolish I know but they're getting on a bit :o So it's now burning a whole in the old piggy banks and question is can you change Scottish notes in NZ for dollars?? Sorry if it sounds a bit weird but used to get funny looks if we tried to use Scottish notes in England :yes Me thinks the answer is probably no but hey if you don't ask...
Cheers

Hi Karen
We have exchanged a few £10 notes and it took an age.
Would imagine they would, i know what you mean though, i remember being paid for a hotel bill when i worked in a hotel in Bristol, and looking at it strangely!
I am sure they would for you, other than that i would send it back to the UK if a family member could pay it into an account and give you the cash back into your uk account ?
Good Luck
Sharon

Thought they should know about different currencies over here!
I know several places back in UK that refused them - crazy!
Sharon
Glad you got sorted!
