Hi everyone. Well at last we received an email from our case officer today & we've been recommended for approval. Just waiting for the completion of the second check but it's all over bar the shouting. Looking forward to sending off the passports for those lovely little stickers!!!!!
For you newbies, this is how we did it.
Came on a months holiday & made up our minds within 5 minutes of leaving Auckland. OH came over a year later for 3 weeks to find a job & got one within 5 days.Sold up the house,brought the dog & found somewhere to live only 2 weeks before we arrived. Got work permit & started the process while in NZ.This took about 6 months from EOI to today's wonderful news. Oh & we didn't know anyone here. So it was all a massive gamble (did have a plan B) but it paid off.
What a way to brighten up a rainy day!

Thanks everyone. I remember right at the beginning how ,after reading similar happy posts, I wanted so much for it to be us & now it is! I felt at times we wouldn't make it as it seemed such a long road. Now we have lots of narnies & it's such a wonderful feeling. To all who are beginning or are part way through, stick at it ... the result is awesome.
Yes Jo Jo, I think it's time we had a wine icon to play with. Had to make do with the real thing in the end. Hey Ho.
