I've tried looking through the forums but can't really find an answer to this. At the moment I have only 70 points, so without a job offer nothing is going to happen.
I'm not going to be able to get across to New Zealand to look for jobs until next year, so I'm looking at a qualification. I've seen that it's 50 points for an HNC in Computing (which is the quickest qualification to get and relevant to what I do).
My question is: How is an HNC seen by New Zealand Employers in comparision to a degree. The NZQA seem to give it a 50 point rating, but any idea what employers think?
