I have two medium -large dogs that i am wanting to take to New Zealand with me. Does naybody know how much this will cost roughly? i know it involves vets fee,permits, containers and travel but need a ball park figure of cost

We've got a labrador and from looking at other posts on the forum we are working on £3000 - £3500 ish!! :exit

also depends where you are coming from as UK animals do not need quarantine, but US pets do, for instance, and this will have an effect on your cost.

basically the bigger the animal the more expensive it is to have flown over

At the time this cost us 5,000 pounds for the treatment and the shipping etc. the dogs are both large, chippie weighed in about 32 kg and Brin about 37 ish kg.

We brought over from the UK a lab, a king charles spaniel and a cat. The total all in was a little under £4500.
