Hi,
Just wanted to say hello, and introduce ourselves:
We're a family of four (Charlotte, Niels, Nikolaj (age 8) and Frederik (age 6)) who've decided to take the plunge and head for NZ - just as soon as we can get through all the paperwork...
We submitted our EOI (no job offer) in February and were selected a week ago. All of a sudden, dreams and talk have become hard reality! We really ARE thinking of moving about as far away from Denmark as it's possible to go.
This forum has been a great help in making our decision - we've been browsing through it, sometimes almost every day, weighing the pros and cons - so thank you everybody!
Right now, it seems as if all the bother is just beginning: get our paperwork together (and translated), submit our ITA (when we receive it), try to rent our house out, and, last but not least, get Niels a job. (He's an IT consultant, so as far as we know, it shouldn't be too difficult)
I guess we'll just take it one step at a time - but boy, how I wish we could just snap our fingers and finally just be there, in NZ, ready to start our grand new adventure!
