Bridges and Crowns (Dental variety)

My bridge is on the verge of collapse and it won't be a pretty sight. It was worth a fortune on the NHS but hopefully just needs to be re-cemented. However, is it a dentist's job here or do I need some new-fangled bridgologist?
It's looking like it's quite urgent now folks. Smiling though gritted teeth.:D

Hi Lockstock
Dont know too much, but one of my best mates at work in the local Hospital is a Dental Assistant. If anyone will know, she will.
Let you know tomorrow if you can wait till then ??

Lockstock hope that you can get it sorted soon. I had to have a crown redone to the tune of $1400 when the tooth underneath the crown snapped. Don't be surprised if you get some other treatment recommended, they don't mess round here, but they do a good job. The crown wasn't done properly in the uk, hence the tooth rotting underneath because the root canal work wasn't done properly.
Good luck :)

And it just gets better and better.
Looks like the liquidiser and straw option then.

If nothing else is wrong with the tooth/teeth underneath then it should just be a case of sticking it back in. Common garden dentist should be able to do it.
good luck

Too late - the whole thing came apart last night. Band goes the modelling career again. Thank goodnes it's the school holidays. I like the sticking it back together option Stevebhoy, personally. Will give it a whirl as soon as the dentist is awake.

If it's out and not broken you can put it back in temporarily with fixodent or any denture fixative from the chemist.
You're lucky I'm still in Scotland where dental advice is free otherwise I'd be PM'ing my bill :laugh
Crowns bridges etc do come out from time to time most times it's just a simple fix so fingers crossed

Can't wait to see what the bhoys have planned for this Sunday. Can't see them topping that one though!
Well that's us top of the league by a point but they have 3 games in hand. Huge fixture pile up though and injuries etc starting so fingers crossed for 3 in a row!!
The whole stadium erupted in applause and laughter when that banner came out. Made even better because the rangers fans couldn't see it:nice1
Was, of course, forcefully removed by Strathclyde's finest 5 mins later but that was long enough

Got an appointment for Wednesday - no smiling until then. How I miss my UK dentist -I'd willingly pay to see him again. My 'relationship' with him lasted longer than my first marriage! Not looking forward to the bill. Thanks for the free advice but knowing my luck I'd glue my mouth together.
Who went hooray then?? Eh? I know where you live.
