Hi guys
This is my very first post as I only found the website a day or so ago, which is a pity as my nails are down to the knuckles already.
A brief history:
EOI submitted 14/01/08
EOI selected 30/01/08
ITA issued 13/03/08
ITA under consideration 8/4/08
I'm 55 and 3/4, and I managed 125 points, work in electronics and we are aiming for the Wairarapa, my better half is 55, and 11/12! and just made redundant by the NHS. So that knocks any ageist conspiracy theory on the head. I have worked in NZ previously for six and 1/2 years, based in Palmerston N. and my biggest regret was not applying for PR then.
Still, this is our last chance and we are giving it a fair go. We are currently in South Nottinghamshire UK, sold house last year (phew!),one welsh collie and no children, all possessions in storage awaiting the decision.
Its a bit of a roller coaster at the moment, as we go to bed thinking of NZ and wake up thinking of NZ!
Just wish I had found this site sooner!
