Yesterday we went to The Fairy Shop in ponsonby, very good shop for little ones ;)

Off to Auckland Zoo on friday..:raebanana

Daughter loves the fairy shop too....but can spend a fortune in there if not careful :o

It is so expensive in fairy shop but gourgeous!! i brought her a wand, a wing and t'shirt (in sale ;)) altogether $45, ouch....

Been to Kelly Tarltons two years ago, don't know if we got time for it, will ask sister because today is Dr's then visit sister's friend who got a boy same age as my 2 years old to play with. (another UK-expat!!) and auckland zoo tomorrow (if weather is nice)

Kelly tarltons (29 - no kids and I enjoyed it)
Skytower
Waiheke Island
The tunnels at northhead in devonport
Auckland Zoo (same again - love the zoo)
Go shopping along Queen St or at a good mall like Sylvia Park
Rangitoto Island
Bars/cafes down at the quay
Shakespear Park
Mission Bay
Visit one or more of the domains

I am so impress with Auckland Zoo, much better than Christchurch Zoo (sorry to chch!) and my daughter has enjoyed herself very much that she did covered whole zoo before she got tired by 2pm so we went home happy. Our favourite is doing the meetkat's tunnels and domes...warning, it is tiring to do this tunnels!!!

On sat morning we went to Muriwai beach, picking up fish and chip from local store on the way. This beach allow you drive your 4X4 on it :nice1 and it is great fun driving on black sand!

On sunday morning, went over to Family of Monkey's (thanks for cake :D yummy!). After lunch we went to Rocket Park, voted as best playground in auckland by kids, in New North Road, Mt Albert. Very good that my 27months old played for whole hour with her auntie and uncle :laugh

Flying back to chch today, but possible off to butterfly creek first, depend on weather! doesn't look good so far....
