My friend who is interested in making the move has a husband who underwent a spinal fusion operation 5 years ago. He still works full time as a foreman for a haulage company with no problems. Would this bring about any problems as far as the medicals are concerned???

Any info appreciated.

I would think the medical assessors would want to see reports from specialist/gp stating that his health/mobility/spine are now fine and details of the original operation, but I would not think it would cause many problems if he is fit enough to be working.

not that I'm an expert, of course :)
