Hi from the Owen family. We've just come back from our NZ hols and decided we like to settle around Paraparaumu and work in Welly, hopefully around September. This looks to be a great forum so thought we'd better say hello.

I've been having a go at filling in the EOI, and am stuck on the “other family” section – T.3 in particular. Do they really want details on all nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins! I'll be over the age limit before I've finished the form! :)

Any help much appreciated.

From what other people have said, that section that is bothering you is only really concerned with people who, at a later date, you might be wanting to sponsor for entry - so, going by who a resident can sponsor, it'll be any other children not travelling with you right now, siblings and parents (or grandparents if your parents are dead meantime). You can't sponsor more distant relatives.

We got stuck on that one too & left it blank but made more sense with the ITA & realised we had to fill in brothers & sisters
