I have yet to send of paperwork for ITA - still gathering and missing kids certificates - they are here somewhere ! Have applied under skill shortage
just wondered how long ITA is valid and do we have a deadline to meet ?
Ideally wish to sell the house first and the market has gone flat ?
thanks sarah

From memory, 4 months from when you receive it. BUT, please check - it is on the form, the letter you receive.

My ITA say it has to be in within 4 months of the date of the ITA.

As others have said, you have 4 months from when your ITA was sent out.
Just because you send back your ITA, you don't need to go to NZ straight away. Once you have the blue stickers in your passport then you have upto 12 months to get to NZ to activate the PR.
If you think that selling your house may take longer than this then you can slow down your application a little further by not sending in your passports and paying the migrant levy.
Or worst case scenario, you could visit NZ to activate the PR.

Ian has it spot on, you have up to 4 months to submit your ITA, then you have up to six months to pay the migrant levy, and once you have your visas, 12 months in which to land in NZ.
Good luck guys.
