Cant quite believe it!, I have been reading so much and absorbing everything from these forums for ages, now we are in the same position!

Story goes we decided to start the process about 2 months ago, my husband started job shopping firstly and whoa!!!! job within 2 weeks, not what we expected at all from everything I have read, that aside we put our EOI in on Monday and it has been selected, really really scary!!! So much to do, not to least worry about selling the house!!!!!

Anyway the real question is, my husbands employers seem to think that as soon as a case worker has been asigned they will be able to contact and have the full SM visa through before he leaves to start work on the 14 July. Dont get me started on that point,,,,, god knows when me and the kids will get there, not one viewing on the house and the market seems to be just getting worse... Anyway must stay posititve. has anyone heard of them contacting immgration and fast-tracking them?

If he has a start date then I would think they would do everything they can to make sure you are ready for that, they did with us & if you lok at my timeline we had about the same time. Once you get a case officer it's easier as you have someone to chase up & I would as there were delays at the time of ours & had we not have chased we wouldn't be here at the date we needed, just make sure you have everything you need so you are ready with all your papaerwork

Fab, thanks for that, so it can be done, it just sounded so unrealistic. I will stop moaning at my husband now!!!!
