My husband and I will be heading back to Toronto in July with our 3 month old baby in tow. We're not taking any of our NZ appliances with us so I thought I'd post the list of things here in case someone moving to Auckland around that time wanted to acquire a starter package with the essentials

Fisher & Paykel washer & dryer
Fisher & Paykel fridge
oscillating fan
3 oil column heaters
dehumidifier
halogen floor lamp & 2 bedside lamps
kitchen stuff: kettle, panini toaster, rice cooker, fire extinguisher
iron, hair dryer
4 North American to NZ voltage transformers

We're not looking to sell this stuff for tons of $$$, just to make the process as convenient as possible when we leave.
