Hi there

We finaly managed to submit our EOI on the 20th and got selected on the 23rd of April.

We now have to sit back and wait for them to do the initial verfication.

Is there any specific time line it takes? I read somewhere that they try and finish it within 4 weeks. Has anyone had to wait longer?

OH has job offer and we just pray every niht that they will wait patiently for us to finish this process.

Please let me know if anyone else was selected and heard anything. Only then will I start driving to the Post Office every 10 minutes. (Maybe I should start camping out there):laugh

Congrats on being selected:clap . We had 2 weeks from being selected to 'decision successful'. I know others had a lot longer to wait. Not sure what order they do it in but it seems that the more points you claim for the longer it takes. How many points do you have?

Congratulations - I remember reading somewhere that if you have job offer NZIS hope to get your EOI checked in 10 days. Trouble is I have read soooo much stuff recently I can't remember where I saw it exactly - but somewhere on the NZIS site.

Hi, We are in the same boat too, my husband starts work on 14 July, we were selected on 23rd too, will let you know as soon as we hear anything? I have found myself checking online this weekend, just in case they are working overtime!!!!! Its enough to crack you up.............

Hi, we hade 115 points with job offer. Did not claim any points for skill shortages. My OH was offered a very senior position in engineering field, and it looks like all the skill shortages are more for trades. Didn't want to give them a chance to have us deselected again.... How much points that you all claim?

Find myself login in to check status more than is good for my health.

Great news! - We just checked the system. Our EOI now says decision succesful. Now we just wait for the forms to arrive.
