Hi,

does anyone know, as I am the main applicant, can my husband deliver the paperwork without me? He is included in the application.

thanks

Helen

I think so. I was the only applicant on my application, and my husband delivered the paperwork for me.

I would think so, when my OH took ours in they just ttok it from him, he was the main applicant but I was expecting to get back the originals that day but they just took it all from him so I don't see why not, do you have a case officer yet that you could check with? I'm sure someone on here must have done it that way
Good luck

HOpe so coz we're planning that OH takes it in as he can take a day off more easily than me. Better check with case officer just to be sure.

Good point Mels.

We will need the originals back there and then so will sit and wait whilst they check it, but like you Carey its much easier for hubby to get day off than me.

How do I know who my case officer is? Is that the name of the visa officer that sent the letter with the ITA pack in it?

We have our medicals on Friday so I am worrying about EVERYTHING right now. Have had some awful sleepless nights, nasty dreams full of what if's etc.

Thanks all

Helen

When we took our ITA in, our CO happened to be on duty. She checked the paperwork noted, we were missing something and then wrote out a receipt thingy for our originals. She did not offer to give them straight back to us though. As we didn't ask for them straight back I don't whether she just didn't or couldn't give them back there and then. Maybe send her an e-mail to check ?

The answer to your question is a definate yes. I was not the main applicant on our ITA and I made the journey on my own to deliver the documents. Mrs TW is the main applicant.

Be prepared to wait a while if you are going to get them checked while you are there.

My OH took ours to London with no problems. They checked through and told us a couple of bits we were missing, but did not give originals back - but we didn't ask. I know you can have your passport back, but not sure of other bits.
