Would love to get some positive or negative feedback/info from parents (or schoolkids) with recent experience or knowledge of the following primary schools.
We are hoping to move into the area shortly and just like to check on the schools- We have looked at the sites and also Ero reports, even visited a couple of them but always good to get some info from users if possible

We are especially keen to hear about:-

**The sports and physical activity facilities and programmes inc swimming/watersports, cricket etc..
**The standards generally of the teachers
**Also the standard and support of the parents.

Hi there, I don't have experience of the schools mentioned as our youngest goes to Pigeon Mountain. We live in Bucklands Beach and it is a short walk from our house to PMP. Of course, you may have discounted it already but here's the website http://www.pigeon-mountain.school.nz/ We have found it very good - great teachers and teaching and great lots of parent support/involvement. Asian parents tend to be less involved with school activities like camp, trips etc and this is an area with a high Asian population. Not quite clear about what you intend by "standard of parents" ?

Yes, Pigeon Mountain primary is really good :) OH's nephew is schooled there and I always hear excellent feedback about it, either regarding teachers or extra curricular activities. OH's older nephew was there as well until a couple of years ago, but he's now at Buckland's Beach Intermediate.
