Yes, this is what brought SE Aussie to very cold temperatures over the last few days. eg coldest April day in Adelaide for 26 years.
Sydney only 17C today.

Horrendous drive down to Taupo yesterday from Hastings, roads were well scary!

Things cleared up in the afternoon then had a shower about 4ish whilst in Orakei Korako..........

Torrential rain all night down in Taupo, but woke up to beautiful blue skies which thankfully lasted the day in Rotorua and we had a fab day out at Wai O Tapu and then the Luge............

Didn't need the wipers as it was raining so hard! Out lovely benign Ngatiawa river is now a grumbling big cauldron & to top it off the sceptic tank is at that "do I really need to go right now?" stage. Fortunately, we have lots of "ahem" private places on the homestead.
