Hi all

You may have read that our 'recce' trip was a huge success and we're now looking at moving to Christchurch.

So on that basis we're after all there is to know about the city and especially the surrounding areas, as we prefer things a bit rural but like the feeling of being relatively close to Christchurch's amenities and attractions. We've our 5 year old son to think about so we need to know about good schooling and a safe and family orientated environment in which to live in. We're looking at towns/areas within a 20 mile radius maximum of the city.

Best to travel around the canterbury to get the feel of place you want to live and to get feel of travelling distance because most of road is not straight road like UK so it will take longer to get to work
