Couldn't think of a decent title but basically, has anyone flown anywhere in NZ on a domestic route with animals (dogs) as cargo? It's the National Dog Show in Christchurch at the end of September and I need to get, with the dog, from Hamilton to CC the most economical - and safest - way. Preferably to arrive together.

I saw someone on an internal flight checking in with their cat - it appeared that it was par of the course, just took it off her as hold luggage.
