Hi guys,

Just to let y'all know that we're off on our big trip, heading Christchurch way, to arrive there sometime on the 17th Feb.

So if you see two pasty looking Brits with a buggy and baby wandering the street(s?) of Sumner, wide-eyed with jetlag and still wearing winter clothes, you'll know who they are.

And if you know anywhere 2-bed or more to rent in Sumner, since our planned rental property fell through last weekend, blast and damn, it'd save us from sleeping on the beach or making Ray Mears-type survival shelters out of driftwood and tables from the Rock.

It's been a mad few weeks but I've just got time to type this now and to thank you all for your support and help in getting us this far.

Hope you guys have a good journey. Are you stopping off anywhere a long the way? What are you're plans in Christchurch (sorry if I've missed an earlier thread).
Apart from Moorf's suggestion, maybe Nicky (Kiwi on the forum) would have an idea for rentals for you?
