Hi,

We have just moved to the christchurch area with our two daughters and are starting to look at areas to live and the local schools etc.

Can anyone give me any info on Lincoln schools, they seem to have a good reputation but the high school seems quite large with a high school roll. We like the Lincoln area as we are looking for something semi rural on the outskirts of Christchurch.

The other schools we are considering are St Andrews college, St Margarets, Rangi Ruru etc. So any advice would be appreciated.

Hiya welcome to chch!

I live just 15mins south-west from Lincoln and my eldest son go to Lincoln's Kindy at moment but he will start our local school in July (not in Lincoln but all my children will attend Lincoln High if we are still in that areas in 10 years time:o ). I have heard from few people that they are impressed with Lincoln high as well as Lincoln school.
I know someone's daughters go to Rangi Ruru school, and she also impressed with this school and only minor downside about this school is long communte for her daughters as they was live in Tai tapu and you have to pay for school fee as it is private school:D
