Hi, All,
I'm new to the forum and just posed an introduction in that forum. My wife and I (and 3 year old daughter) would love to live in NZ. My wife and I visited in 2004 for one month and of course had the most magnificent time. for us to be able to consider a move we obviously will need to work, thus job offers. Now my wife is a writer/editor for the Centers of Disease Control in Atlanta, Georgia, in the States. She writes, edits, and reviews health related scientific articles, brochures, website content, pod-casts, etc. She's quite brilliant and well the Centers of Disease Control is the central hub for health related monitoring in the US. Of course, her skills reach beyond health related content as she is comfortable in many areas of writing/editing.
So, does anyone have any suggestions of whom we might attempt to contact or where a need for this skills might be most useful?
Now there's me. I left a job as a talent agent to return to school to first, finish an undergraduate degree in Psychology (I will have it completed by February of 2009), with the intentions of getting a Masters in Social work, followed by licensure so as to eventually set up a mental health therapist practice.
First, I was wondering what if any opportunities might exist for a Bachelors degree in Psychology. Second, I was wondering what the market was like for licensed therapists or if anyone can recommend a good graduate school? (Univ of Canterbury?)
Thank you in advance,
Andre
