Well its gone very quickly and we will be on our way on Tuesday! Not looking forward to long flight! :-( and via LAX too!. :-((.

Staying in a motel in Newmarket for a few days whilst looking for suitable rentals. (3 beds).

Also need to rent some furniture until our stuff arrives in June!, any recommendations on the best place and location etc would be really helpful.

Can anyone recommend any estate agents for rentals? nearby to Newmarket.

Start work on the 19th of May so this is going to be a really busy time!

We flew via LA with a 4.5yr old and have to admit we didnt find it that bad in all honesty. We were confined to one lounge when we got off in LA which wasnt that bad, but heard in HK and other plaes youre able to go look around the shops.........

Whereabouts are you heading, wasnt sure where the place you named was - north or south island ?

I am sure someone can point you in the right direction as regards furniture. We bought all new when we got out here so dont know what to advise in that matter.

I think it was when we were at the airport it finally sunk in we were off, hadnt had much time before as only had 6 weeks to prepare!

Spent today in Auckland City and opening a bank account with lloyds for me and the wife. Spent a bit of time site seeing then checking exactly where the office I will be working in.
