I have been starting to get rather worried as our EOI was selected 1 September (100 pts no J.O.) and we have not yet heard anything when many others in the same boat had. So I stayed up last night so that I could call London first thing and the NZIS officer I spoke with was most curt and did not ask for my EOI reference #, only said that it would be gotten to when those with Job Offers were processed first. This is the second time I've called with this inquiry and the 2nd time I've had this reaction. What am I doing wrong?!?!?! :no

I never called but I did email and that may have helped, we got the ITA a couple weeks after I emailed and I had a short exchange with someone at NZIS.

Who did you email? I emailed Dunedin when our EOI was there, I've emailed the general email inquiry address, but have no email for the London branch. I'm just worried as we've already paid quite a bit of money and have the flights booked for our dogs to go in June, looks like they might be on their own!

Catlijn,
try this email, this is what I have been using for my general inquiries when I had no case officer.
skilledmigrantslondon@dol.govt.nz

hope this will help.

Hi Cat,

I was beginning to despair too. I've rang NZIS a few times over the past 5 months and I got the same curt response as you.."Don't ring us" etc. I eventually sent an email to the above Skilled Migrant address and received a very prompt reply saying they would "investigate". Another email the same day saying "Sorry, ITA on way"....It arrived today!!!!!! I had 100 pts, no job offer, no POL. Hang on in there, it'll come.

Good Luck :hopeso

Thank you all of you for you help, just starting to doubt if we're really going to make it or not.

I finally contacted Terry Murphy, the marketing director in Oregon (I've seen his name on, gulp, other forums) and he said that he would contact London directly for me. :hopeso

I know everything will turn out, we're just so itchy to get there and out of this weather! It was negative 20F when I got up to walk the dogs this morning, brrrr!

Thanks!
