Out of interest, has anyone moved from the north island (Wellington) to the South island (Christchurch) ?

If so, can I be nosy and ask how much removal companies have charged to pack up and move your stuff?
(average 4 bedroomed house)

Sure someone can tell you there with that but I thought let you know that there is company called Canterbury Bulk (www.canterburybulk.co.nz/About.asp) that we used few times and very impressed with them for move cars from north island to south island (chch).
