Hey everyone,
I've been lurking on the forum now for a few months, but now that I have a job offer I figured I'd make an official entrance here before I start making tons of posts :)
I'm a software engineer living in Seattle, and am planning to be in Wellington by the beginning of August if all goes well. My wife and daughter (age 5) will be following 1-3 months later depending on how things turn out.
Right now I'm still in contract negotiation, but I expect that to go smoothly, and then it's just up to getting a work visa.
It's an incredibly exciting prospect, and I never thought I'd seriously consider moving to another country, much less actually DOING it! But here we are, and it's certainly going to be a wild ride.
