Juast got our medical forms back today plus X-rays. All OK. Do I need to include photocopies of medicals for ITA?

Nope, just the originals. Some people have taken copies for their own reference but we dropped ours off to NZ house by hand so didn't bother.

You have to send in the original copies of your medical ...We took a copy of my husband's medical for our records.

This is interesting. I got my medical results in a sealed envelope with lots of stamps on it saying I can't open it and I have to submitt it sealed to NZ Immigration, so no chance of photocopying them. Did anyone else have this, or is it a Sydney specific thing?

This is actually a Oz immigration requirement that the medicals must be sealed.

They do not need to be sealed for NZ and you are free to open the envelope and have a look at your results if you so wish (or at least this is what others on the forum have done).

Yep this has been brought up before and we opened our ones just to double check everything was correct and included - wasn't going to depend on doctor getting it right :laugh

Ours were sealed & stamped and the doctor told us they had to be sealed to be accepted. However he went through them with us before they were sealed so we knew what was in them.

They are you records, of course you can look at them!! And you don't have to send the x-rays, the report on those is included with the paperwork.
