we got our meds back and mine has higher than the range of total protein and albumin

total protein ; 62-82 mine 85
albumin ; 35-50 mine 55

everything else on the liver test was fine

creatine 60-120 mine 68
globulin 20-40 mine 30
total bilirubin 3-22 mine 8
ALP 30-130 mine 76
ALT 10-66 mine 23
GGT 0-80 mine 15

doctor has wrote insignificant result next to my liver tests

do you think i have anything to worry about ie will i need more tests or do you lot think it will be okay,

Perhaps talk with your local GP and ask for an explanation, if nothing else to clarify your understanding and put your mind at rest.

If any further tests are needed, then get them done via your GP on the NHS.

If NZIS come back with any questions, then you will have any further information allready to hand and you will also have put your mind at rest.

If it is anything significant, normally, the 'Medical' Doctor will try and get you to progress this, before making his/her submission to NZIS.

If the result was likely to affect your application, normally the 'Medical' doctor would suggest or give you the opportunity to undertake further tests or provide further evidence surrounding the condition before making a submission.

does anyone know what the results actually mean though, i tried googling and it said that high total protein and albumin means that you are dehydrated, does anyone know if this is the case, we had a hur journey to get there didnt drink anything that morning and when we got there was well thirsty but couldnt have a drink as i needed to hold my wee in for the urine sample and was fit for bursting, maybe this has something to do with it???

This areas used to be part of my job as lab tech but had been over 6 years since I worked there....
Just checking that your kidney and liver is functing normal. I can't tell you whether your result is ok or not because none of us are qualified to tell you and all depend what did other tests said.
Best person, if you are still worry, is contact the Dr yourself.
Has he mention about need look into further tests because of your result? if not, then Dr is not worried about your test.
